A comprehensive framework is steering implementation to ensure that the 10 billion trees target is reached sustainably. Tree planting initiatives will be implemented over several years, with more than 600 million trees and shrubs expected to be planted by 2030. This will not only protect the environment, but also create new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia.
